General Summary
Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Manager will create, implement and nurture the overall marketing strategy of the company.
He/She will be responsible for driving all aspects of Marketing, including Product, Industry and Vendor Marketing, PR/AR, Marketing Communication, Direct marketing and Events, to support the Sales Organization in order for them to achieve their business goals in line with the vendor marketing strategies.
Job Description
-Analyze the MENA IT market and understand key players and competitors, key trends and size of markets available to Tech Access
-Define GTM strategy and messaging for various IT Vendors represented by Tech Access
-Co-ordinate our Internal Marketing strategy with the Vendor marketing strategy
-Manage Marketing Development Funds
-Manage various Marketing initiatives associated with various vendor offerings
-Proactively manage the relationship with press and analysts to positively influence Tech Access's perception in the marketplace
-Manage all Marketing communication activities including collateral production, advertising, newsletters and magazines
-Drive Direct marketing, eMarketing and Web marketing activities to generate new prospects and customers for Tech Access
-Evangelize the business and technology benefits of our Vendor portfolio (products and services) in front of Customers, Partners and Internal Teams
-Prepare, agree and communicate a marketing plan that encompasses all of the above.
-Prepare and manage marketing budgets, deliver regular reports on performance against target and provide variance analysis and revised projections
-Become a recognized name in the MENA IT Distribution industry and act as a corporate spokesperson for the company
Experience/Skills
-University degree in business management or similar
-Proven track record in international marketing and management (min. 5 years) within the IT industry
-Industry experience at senior management level (min. 5 years) - enterprise channel experience a definite plus
-Ability to develop and implement marketing/business plans
-Proven ability to negotiate and influence at executive levels within an organization
-Excellent understanding of customer expectations and requirements, markets, technology and competitive trends
-Knowledge of the local market, business/commercial awareness, understands industry and customer environment in the MENA region
-
Can interact on a personal basis at all levels. Has highly developed communications, presentation, interpersonal, public relations, customer relations, decision-making, project management and administration skills
-Open-minded, with vision, proactive, pragmatic, flexible, energetic, confident, decisive, self-driven and highly focused
-Ability to multi-task in a matrix organization
-Ability to speak Arabic will be beneficial
-Willingness and ability to travel extensively to all countries in the MENA region
